Mario's taunt has him growing very large, then shrinking back down. Crazy amount of work must have went into this post. Welcome to Reddit's finest Smash Bros community!

Your box that talks about Dr. Mario's jab 2 mentions his jab 1 instead. Charge frame 3. Press J to jump to the feed.

Doc has up to two frames extra when rebounding from a clank on his animation. Doc's jab 1 sends at 83 degrees on all hits except the innermost (which never takes priority), which sends at 85 degrees. I like this detail that Doc uses the fireman's lift, which is both a medical/emergency transport method (so he would know this technique over mario, who wouldn't), and at the same time is effective as an actual judo throw. Doc cannot platform cancel his nair as it does not do 12 damage off the bat. Sends at 45 degrees, 60/65 base/growth, dealing 9 damage. Both with 45/75 base/growth. Mario's bthrow releases on frame 44 and is actionable on frame 24 of hitstun when throwing Luigi. Edit: Some changes, and the links have been re-edited as before they failed to work. Mario's hits on frames 18-22, autocancels on <2 44>, and lasts until frame 74. And as an extra, I thought I'd mention that Dr. Mario's final smash (Doctor Finale) does slightly more damage. Has 0/100 base/growth. Refreshing it requires landing through air dodge, normal landing, or during cape itself. Mario's dtilt hits on 5-8 and ends on frame 34. Doc's cape stalls him a little upon its first use, about the same as Mario's second aerial use. Mario's initial hit of upb sends at 70 degrees with 150 set knockback, dealing 5 damage. Hits on 5-9, ends on 22. I wanted to apologize ahead of time if you do not see your requests right away. They have a bounce multiplier of 0.9. Also, all dash attack hits deal 1 shield damage for whatever reason. Luigi's Side B is Green Missile while Mario and Dr.Mario's Side B is the Cape and the Super Sheet, respectively. Fireball comes out on frame 14, and lasts 75 frames.

Doc can perform a lemon grab. I’m probably wrong but it doesn’t seem like it. while Dr. Mario's is Doc Tornado (similar to Luigi's down special). Just look at this, [Link] (, Doc's bair has more range and disjoint. Dr. Mario vs. Mr. Game and Watch Super Smash Bros. Doc and Mario are more different than you think, no move is exactly the same! Mario's the same in all attributes as Doc (not counting ???? Neutral B is a pill, cape has different properties, Forward Air doesn’t spike, but it has kill potential. EDIT: I've added a few more things that I remembered and fixed up some more things. Sends at 90 degrees, 75/30 base/growth, 6 damage. Sends at 45 degrees, 60/72 base/growth, dealing 9 damage.

Mario's backair lasts from frames 6-17. ID1 sends at 90 degrees, but is impossible to hit with in a practical setting. Doc's idle animation has him roll his neck occasionally. Doc's final hit sends at 80 degrees with 40/160 base/growth dealing 3 damage on both hitboxes. Mario's cape lifts him up a little upon its first use.

Is there something like this for Fox/Falco? cross subreddit shitposting, you're defining the meta, New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast.

Some of the main differences between Mario and Dr. Mario include: A different down-special, Mario's is F.L.U.D.D. Mario's utilt hits on 4-12, ends on 30, IASA frame 30. The multi-hit spin is the Mario Tornado. Luigi's fireball goes straight horizontally while Mario and Dr. Mario's neutral B bounce, and follow gravity, Mario and Luigi's fireballs have energy properties, but Dr. Mario's pills are physical, Luigi's Side B is Green Missile while Mario and Dr.Mario's Side B is the Cape and the Super Sheet, respectively, Likewise, Mario's and Dr. Mario's side B have a slight difference; Mario's Side B stalls Mario for a little, while Dr. Mario's does not, Luigi's, Mario's, and Dr. Mario's Up Bs look similar but are actually pretty different. Mario's fsmash has 25/95 base/growth on id0 for all angles, and 25/96 base/growth for all sourspots on all angles, all hitboxes on all angles send at Sakurai angle. Sends at 135 degrees, 80/72 base/growth, dealing 12 damage. Hits on 3-4, ends on 18. Little Mac - 5.0 Worst Match. I'm not a Mario or Doc player but it was interesting to read about some of the differences I didn't know about.

I think you missed that the Dr. Sheet is shorter horizontally then the super sheet. Finally, they have different back throws (and I believe otherwise their throws vary slightly in damage and knockback, for example Dr. Mario's down throw sends opponents straight up, allowing you to use it as a combo starter. Mario's fireballs are shot at a -10 degree angle with a speed of 1.5. Mario's neutral air starts out smaller than doc's.

The damage it hitstun that it deals is important for cape knockdowns (most options off ledge, grab, tether/parasol rises, end of illusion are all examples of states that cause a knockdown).

Mario's upair lasts from frame 4-9, ending on frame 33, autocancels on 16>. They have a bounce multiplier of 0.9. Doc's dtilt hits on 5-8 and ends on frame 34. Mario's jab 1 sends at 83 degrees on all hits except the innermost (which never takes priority), which sends at 85 degrees. Hits on 2-3, ends on 15. Base knockback and KBG on both hits is 20/100. Mario has a smaller window to perform his aerial interrupt with upair. Am I finally special? The final hit covers him completely, with a hitbox size of 1600. Doc's cape cuts his current horizontal velocity in half.
Info is pulled from relevant frame data threads as well as crazy hand and personal knowledge, and some testing in game. A full upb does 13 damage unstaled.

People still consider Luigi a Mario clone in 2015?

Mario's back air is a standard back air: Sakurai angle, strong hit does 11 damage, with 10/100 base/growth, after 3 frames of strong hit, weak hit comes out, doing 9 damage, with 7/100 base/growth. What gives? For the last frame, it deals 13 damage and sends at 76 degrees on aerial opponents and 259 degrees on grounded opponents.

You are right, though jab 2 I just copy and pasted most information but forgot to change it 1 to 2. Up angled does 9 damage with 11/100 base/growth, middle angled does 8 damage with 10/100 base/growth, down angled does 7 damage with 9/100 base/growth. Doc can cancel his taunt by sliding off an edge or entering the teeter animation while in the taunting animation. Dr. Mario picks you up, puts you on his shoulder and throws you behind him slowly while exclaiming "HYUUGH!". Deals 3 damage. Mario's weight in PAL is 98 (100 in NTSC). TL;DR: There are different sized hitboxes for certain moves that you wouldnt expect and different amounts of disjoint and range on certain moves that is surprising. Mario's cape sends at 110 degrees with 30/80 base/growth. Your box on Dr. Mario's downtilt knockback cuts off abruptly; something seems to be missing? Each hit does 3 damage. Ultimate. I AM aware that Luigi is a semi clone (well, not even), but I am including him because he is similar enough to Mario and Dr. Mario to be on this list.

Welcome to Reddit's finest Smash Bros community! If perfectly sweetspotted, Mario's upb can grab ledge as soon as frame 25 (The last frame of upb he'd be in before grabbing ledge is 24, which has a hitbox). Charge frame 5. I'd also like to introduce you to the resource known as Kurogane Hammer which provides specifics on stats, the ones I checked out were http://kuroganehammer.com/Ultimate/airSpeed and http://kuroganehammer.com/Ultimate/runspeed in particular. 4 frames later, late hit comes out, and the leg shrinks to a size 200 and shifts inwards, body hitbox shrinks to size 800.
